| James
Alvin Harrison - Bass |
|
A
former native of Portsmouth VA, residing now in Bergen County
NJ, since 1986. He is a self trained artist/musician
who's service to God is primarily through the arts. With
bass guitar always having been his instrument of choice,
he has maintained an urge for God since early childhood.
He feels his ultimate purpose in life is to emphasize
the qualities of God through the arts. Both in visual and
performing. Alvin has been a big fan of John Fitzpatrick
ever since their musical paths crossed a few years ago.
Having played in a variety of interesting musical
projects, Alvin views it as quite refreshing to work with
true professional talent like John's, with a sincere heart
for God despite himself. |
| Jeff
Sargese - Drums |
|
While
growing up in Roseland NJ, Jeff's musical affinity for the
drums started early, when as a youngster he would often
drum on a rocking chair. After enduring his creative inspiration
on the furniture, his parents finally bought him a drum
set and arranged private lessons. He later played in miscellaneous
rock bands for many years and was privileged to record some
songs at the Record Plant in NYC. However, he never found
true fulfillment or peace until he began playing music for
God. In April 2005 Jeff was pursuing his desire to begin
playing for a christian band, when he found himself at Holy
Grounds coffee lounge. There he met his fiancé Lynda,
who later introduced him to John and Alvin. He was inspired
when he heard the band perform and was honored when asked
to be a part of the project. In addition to playing with
Fleece, Jeff currently serves as the drummer for the worship
team at New Life Covenant Church in Teaneck, NJ. |
| Billy
Van Clief - Lead Guitar |
|
While
Growing up Northern NJ Billy began to play the guitar at
about age 12. In no time music seemed to become his number
one priority. Favoring the hard stuff, he soon found himself
in a number of heavy metal bands . Since then he has played
in numerous types of bands such as The Ninth Hour, Beloved,
and Room 108. Billy currently serves as lead guitarist and
backup vocalist for Fleece. |
| John
Fitzpatrick - Vocals/Guitar |
|
Unlike
most musicians John Fitzpatrick did not even pick up a
guitar until he was 20 years old. After Learning to play
rather quickly, he realized that Singing and writing came
naturally to him as well. Within a few years he and a
few friends decided to start a band called "Jonah".
The group disbanded after a year and the members decided
to part their seperate ways. But John and long time friend
and Bass player James Alvin Harrison kept playing together
in small side projects. As the number of his songs began
to increase, John and Alvin decided to start a new band
in January 2005 and name it (Fleece).
John continues to serve as frontman for Fleece and is
also the Worship leader at NLCC, in Teaneck NJ.
